The best thing was our room which was up at roof level with a balcony that looked out on to the beach. We we also only a short walk from the old town which was great. Manager was very helpful, telling us the best places to park and the best restaurants in town. He made us feel really welcome.
Only down side is there is no lift, so our room was a hike up four flights of stairs. Also this is accomodation only, but there are nice cafes nearby for breakfast.
the age of the building the lovely tall ceilings. The view was lovely room was clean
no breakfast facility it did not state on booking it was not availible not until we arrived they should at least offer this as a room service if not in a restaurant also the room was very drafty although it was july you could feel the cold draft the curtains were moving a good 4 inches. The bed was also uncomfortable too soft no support also the air duct for the toilet was extremely noisy.Never 4 star .
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was a single with a sea view, and though small had everything I needed: quiet, clean, comfortable, great view! The location is convenient for the station, thebeach and the town centre.
Excellent location, welcoming, helpful and friendly
We had a problems with the dates that were booked but the lady at reception was so helpful. Lucky enough there was a room for us to stay in. Without a doubt it was the best customer service i've seen
Staff were briliant, suprise breakfast, sea view , pet friendly
It was clean and convenient
No car park, dining room or lift. The bed was noisy, turning in the night probably disturbed other guests.
Very friendly service, clean rooms, good view.
Breakfast left a little to be desired.
The friendliness and welcoming factor of the manager. He couldn't do enough for you and was very helpful. The room was very well decorated and extremely clean. Couldn't fault this accommodation, would recommend and certainly would stay there again. Thankyou.
It was clean
Lack of full breakfast facilities and a lounge. Also no 24 hour manning of desk
The best place in Hastings. Good location near EAC school. Good seaside view. Comfortable room and excellent service.
Stuff was amazingly nice and helpful. Very clean room, great location. Definitely will go back and strongly recommended!!!Had a really lovely time!!
Very warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff, car park info saved us maney!!.Room accomodation comfortable but basic. We will stay there again if we need a short stay stop over.
Hotel was just what we wanted for a one stay to save us driving home after a family party.
1) The soft towels provided. 2) The helpfulness and friendliness of the Manager.
1) The stairs:- too twisty & too many. 2) The lack of full breakfast. 3) The croissant provided outside the room door for breakfast tasted like cardboard; the cardboard plate and plastic knife were inadequate for neatly cutting and buttering the croissant without making a mess. I only tried this the first morning and left the breakfast bag untouched outside my door other nornings. (4) The bed was noisy and creaked badly at the slightest movement, (5) The bed springs protruded and dug in when trying to sleep. (6) There was no shower, only a handset on the bath taps. (7) The hot water ran out when the bath was only a few inches filled and one was forced to shampoo with cold water until learning the trick for next time of shampooing hair first and then running a bath, albeit of reduced depth. (8) The kettle provided did not have a detachable socket and the plug on the end of the lead was plugged into a gang socket to which the tv and digibox were also attached; this socket had to be pulled up from behind the chest of drawers in order to reach it but having done so, the plug was too firmly inserted into the gang socket for me to be able to remove; I therefore was unable to make a drink for the entirety of my stay.
Bedroom to small, TV not working for fist day. Noise from local club till 2-30am. No food available in hotel. Will not be staying here again.
